The Weimar Republic & Comparative Authoritarianism — Final Submission
Use parenthetical citations within your essay to credit sources. Place the citation directly after the information or quotation it supports, before the period. Your instructor accepts either Chicago/Turabian or MLA — be consistent throughout.
Use this for most books and articles with a single author.
Use "et al." after the first author's name when there are three or more authors.
Place the citation after the closing quotation mark, before the period.
You do not need quotation marks when paraphrasing, but you must still cite the source.
Cite Pelz by chapter and page. You must reference and cite A People's History of Modern Europe in your paper.
For primary documents without page numbers, use title/author and year. For speeches, laws, and manifestos, include paragraph or section numbers if available.
MLA uses author + page number only, no year. Be consistent — use either Chicago/Turabian or MLA throughout your entire paper.
List all sources cited in your paper. Entries are alphabetical by author's last name. The second and subsequent lines of each entry are indented (hanging indent). MLA users: format as a Works Cited page using MLA hanging-indent style.
Required book — Pelz:Bibliography entries are subject to the same no-paste rule as your essay.
Please read each statement carefully and check the box to indicate your agreement.
